ABOUT US.
Mission & Vision Statement
We are a black led grassroots organization based in Las Vegas, NV dedicated to shifting the narrative surrounding police terrorism by humanizing victims. Every victim of the state is more than a hashtag, we are reshaping the narrative beyond social media trends in hopes of change through storytelling, campaigns, and community engagement. We work on addressing oppression related to; harmful/dehumanizing propaganda, racist policies, and police terrorism. Our work is rooted in abolition but we understand that our community doesn’t have the tools to have such shared belief. We are committed to providing our community with tools & knowledge; through political education, alternatives to policing, victim advocacy, and direct action, to collectively achieve liberation through abolition.
our theory of change
We believe that a key step to Black liberation is the abolishment of police and all carceral systems. To dismantle systems of state violence and oppression, we must reclaim our power by bringing awareness and confronting these systems head on. We define what keeps us safe, restores us, and builds true community resilience. Our work is rooted in abolition, recognizing that prisons, jails, and policing are not solutions to harm but that disproportionately target Black and all oppressed communities. We understand that abolition is a process that builds a world beyond policing and punishment. We center around organizing around Structured Organizing, Political Education,Leadership Development, Healing & Transformation, Victim Advocacy, Direct Action & Campaigns, Creating Alternatives. We know that abolition is not just about tearing down, but about building. By investing in community based strategies, transformative justice, and mutual aid, we create new possibilities for a future where all people, especially Black people, can live free from violence, oppression, and state control.
